Probably not….. But there are actually health benefits that come along with drinking coffee. So sit back with a dark cup of joe, and feel good about being healthy! Besides – you don’t want to end up like this guy do you?
The World Research Institute estimates that Americans drink nearly 416 cups (8oz) of coffee every year. That is nearly 26 Gallons! That honestly might be a little low for me…. but I was only doing it for my health (Really!). Coffee drinkers are statistically less likely to have Type 2 Diabetes than non drinkers.
How does it work?
Coffee is a great source for antioxidants which help prevent tissue damage from oxygen-free radicals. Coffee is also chopped full of all kinds of minerals like magnesium. If you’re familiar with Diabetes you know that it revolves around the control of insulin, and magnesium actually stabilize insulin levels.
So next time you’re considering not having coffee – Don’t – It’s for you’re own good!
